Retirement Plans Derailed by the Mailman…

In 1999, I was planning to retire from the sewing machine business I had owned in Hawaii for 30 years. My plans were to relax, buy a motor home and cruise the mainland for a year. Little did I know how the best-laid plans could be turned upside down with a delivery from the mailman.

In July of that year, a friend mailed me a video and cassette tape about the Chi Machine. The unopened tapes had been sitting on my desk for a week when my friend made a follow up call to see if I had looked over the tapes. He persuaded me to open his package and listen to the audio tape as I drove home from work. When I got home my curiosity was aroused enough to watch the video. At that time, I had a sore neck and shoulder pain from an auto accident and I had been going to a chiropractic doctor twice a week to try to relieve my pain.

With the information I heard from the tapes and the money back guarantee I figured I had nothing to lose by ordering a Chi machine. I used the machine as soon as it arrived. I was on the machine for 5 minutes and my 2-year-old pain disappeared and never came back. I was amazed.

I brought the Chi Machine to my store and let my customers try it. They loved it and wanted it too. I immediately saw a tremendous market for the machines. I could see from my customers that our machine was helping many people with a wide range of health problems and the majority of people were receiving instant gratification. We’ve won trips to HTEs international conventions in Las Vegas and Hong Kong; walked Chinas Great Wall with fellow HTE leaders; been a guest presenter at training meetings in Minnesota, Singapore and Cancun plus combined business with pleasure during a 7 day deluxe resort vacation in Kaanapali, Maui. In May 2003, utilizing the Presidents Auto Bonus program I picked up my FREE Mini Cooper (super charged model) in New York and enjoyed a 3-week cross-country trip.

Now I have a big smile on my face every time I see that mailman, especially when he delivers my monthly HTE commission check. So far, my highest earnings were in excess of $50,000 in one month. I mention this not to brag but to inspire my fellow HTE distributors to higher goals and more success and to let other MLM industry leaders know what a great opportunity lies within this company. This truly is the right product at the right time.

Lastly, I’d like to share one story. Because we don’t have an elevator in my two story office building, a large overweight man, who was barely able to walk with his cane, had to climb our two flights of stairs to my second floor office. He told me he could not get up from a lying position without assistance and he was facing amputation of both his legs because of poor circulation due to diabetes.

After trying our life changing medical devices he arose by himself, with no assistance. Because I was busy with some other customers he left my office unnoticed by me. When he returned several minutes later, he told me he had just climbed our two flights of stairs THREE TIMES with his cane tucked under his arm. He kept saying, “This is unbelievable!” With tears in his eyes, he gave me a big bear hug. By that time I was crying too. Every time I tell that story and think of his tear stained face I am choked up all over again. This story crystallizes why I am personally motivated to stay in this business. I want to help more people like him.
